No animal is missing at Givskud Zoo, not even the extinct ones! Meet the dinosaurs at the dinosaur park, where over 50 life-sized models look so real, you might think you’re in Jurassic Park.
Drive your own car deep into the savannah, or take the Safari Bus, where the driver will be your guide. See lions lazing around and giraffes stretching up into the air, then explore the rest of the zoo on foot.
You can even step into the enclosures in some areas to meet lemurs, goats and more. Across the many pathways you’ll find elephants, camels, wolves, gorillas and other exciting animals, and learn about their natural habitats.
It’s an animal-packed education as well as an experience to remember! Take your own lunch to enjoy one of the shady picnic areas around the zoo.

Good to Know
- From May-August a free shuttle bus is available driving between the locations of Givskud Zoo, Legoland Billund and the cities Vejle and Billund
- If you visit on a busy day with a queue at the car entrance to the park, simply park your car by the entrance. Then, go to the ticket office desk to redeem your tickets and start your visit by exploring the walkable parts of the park. Later during the day you can easily pick up the car and take the classic safari tour
- A safari bus is also available on-site to bring guests on the drivable safari for an added
- Givskud Zoo is accessible to everyone. In fact, GIvskud Zoo has been awarded all the Danish Accessibility Label scheme labels

- Please note that your selected visit date is not a binding reservation; this is actually an open-date ticket that can be used on any day during the season
- To check which dates in the high season are likely to be the busiest, please check the ‘queue-barometer’ link you’ll receive with your voucher
