Founded in 1927, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the world’s oldest and largest koala sanctuary. Located on an 18-hectare area in the Brisbane suburb of Fig Tree Pocket in Queensland, the park is also home to kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, wombats, echidnas, platypuses, reptiles, kookaburras, emus, and cassowaries.
